What are some good abdominal exercises. Something to really build abs.?!

Question: if you want abs, you have to first start with limiting your carbs and sugar intake

then incorporate some cardio workouts like running or walking

and finish it off with sit up or some kind of abdominal workouts

if you want abs you have to burn the layer of fat off your abdominal muscle then defin them by sit ups
*the diet is the most important part though

crunches are the traditional way

SIT UPS!!!!

i dnt no

400 sit-ups day and night.

leg lifts, roman chair

crunches

push ups

Lay on you back flat on the floor. Then lift your legs about three inches off the ground straight and together and hold them there while you do crunches.

When you do pilates, you do 70% more work than with crunches! Here are some good exercises:

well there's obviously the sit up. But to make a more challenging sit up get a chair, lay down in front of it so you can put your legs on top of it. This would put your knees at a 90 degree angle kinda and the once your in that position do sit ups. You feel it a lot faster

Well I wish they work

its an exercise called bicycle. You lay on your back, put your hands on the back of your head (like if your being arrested) Now lift your knees up to your chest and try to touch your knees with your elbows. You try to touch your left elbow with your right knee. That crap burns!!! Or try having someone hold your feet while you lie on your back, and kick your legs up. Damn that one burns like hell. Good luck on your quest for that six pack.

Check out http://www.xercisefactor.com they have over 90 different abs exercise video clips. I suggest L sits!!!!

2 things. The most fast and effective ways, anyway. Obviously, there are crunches and sit-ups. I mean, DUH. But the way to really target them and build them doesn't need to be so labor intensive.

#1) Planking. Planking is a pilates exercise. I'll include a link that shows you how to do it. You only have to do it for ONE MINUTE every day (if you can). The first time you try, you will probably lay face down on the floor after about 10 seconds, lol!

#2) Crunches and sit-ups on a pilates ball. The ball really helps target the 'ol abs so you don't have to do as many to get good results. It's also better for your back.

There are a zillion other ways to do it. Just look online for "planking pilates" and there are increasing difficulty levels.

They sell the balls at Target, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, etc.
