Question: whats a good diet plan that worked for you?

Answers: whats a good diet plan that worked for you?

I lost over 80 pounds on weight watchers in under 2 years. I loved it. Its was so easy for me to stay in my points range.

weightwatchers is good, but if you dont want to spend 40 pounds a month then give yourself a calorie target, and just write everything down you eat and try and not get over. With this you can Minus points if you exercise, 20 minute run you can take away 2 points or so. Also if you plan to have a curry or chinese in the evening just eat alot healthier in the day and you can have it. Ive been told that the Gi Diet is good but it is one i failed on. If you want to know more let me know and ill tell ya more. If not happy dieting

I've lost 25 pounds on weight watchers. I love it and it's very healthy.

The G.L. Plan.

All foods have a glycemic load - the rate at which they release their energy. High G.L. foods. i.e. chocolate, sweets, white bread, biscuits, have a high GL, so release their energy (sugar) really fast so you get a surge of energy then a slump which means you reach out for more chocolate.

Low G.L. foods, such as porridge, nuts, rye bread, vegetables and (some) fruits have a low G.L. which means they release their energy in a slower, more controlled way which means your blood sugar isn't surging then dropping.

You also feel fuller for longer and don't want to smack someone at 11am as you are starving hungry and have the sugar munchies.

Best to buy a book about it, as some foods you think would be a low GL actually aren't. This is also a great diet plan for diabetics or women with PCOS.
