Join a gym or Buy workout DVDs? Which do you think is best when weighing the pro!

Join a gym. But join a gym that has classes. The classes will be like doing dvd's, but they change each time, which is good for keeping you going, and making your body not do the same routine over and over.

Gyms are good if you get a Personal Trainer but workout DVDs are good too because you can gradually work up to a level you're comfortable at.

So on Term of losing weight they're both good but you can be more motivated with a personal trainer.

It depends on if you would actually use the membership to a gym, and/or if you'd use the DVD's! The gym would be better, as they have a greater variety of equipment, so as to work out the different groups of muscles.
