Anyone FAST here?, i need tips, especially on the juice fast, thanks?!


Question: i was reading a bit about fasting in a book, but there was only a paragraph about fasting, they mentioned juice fasting is good for 1st timers,, it says how good fasting is to clear out toxins and free radicals,,, sounds great!

id love to know-

how many days should u fast
how often
what other fastings are good, like juice or any others
are there any negatives to fasting [besides being hungry, lol]

um, well first off, i have no idea what book you're reading but that is completely unhealthy.

if you want to "detox" your body, then you should follow the Fat Smash Diet detox plan (& i have this memorized so i'll type it out for you!). it works very well. you do it for 9 days & the typical person would lose 6-8 lbs. though i only lost 4. but a lot has to do with getting rid of water retention because these foods keep your body from storing excess water and also jumpstarts your fatburning system.

you eat 4-5 meals everyday equidistant from each other.
you can eat:
unlimited vegetables & fruits (but try to limit fruits with lots of carbs like bananas) except for avocadoes
unlimited beans (legumes)
up to 1 cup of oatmeal (dry)
up to 2 cups of brown rice
up to 2 cups of fat-free plain yogurt
moderate amounts of olive oil used in cooking your food
any seasonings/flavorings but limit sodium intake!
