How can I improve the ammount of pull-ups I can do?!

Question: I am 14 years old - 5' 10" - and 150 lbs.
I work out moderately, and I am currently working on my pull-ups (overhand grip). I used to not be able to do any, but am no able to do 10. Sometimes I will do 9, sometimes 11 or 12, but it seems that I have kind of plateaued around that area. How can I start gaining results in my pull-ups again.

The only way to do more is to "do more." In other words the more you do everyday the more you will be able to do total. For example when I started I would do 25 a day (1 at a time). Then I progressed to 50 a day (6 in one try). Now I can do 100 a day. (20 in one try). Just keep cranking them out.

try mixing it up...your muscles eventually get used to the same excercises. Try doing chin-ups, lat pull downs (high reps), and other lat/back excercises. Then go back to doing pull-ups and keep increasing the number.
