How can I improve my pull-ups?!

Question: I am 14 years old - 5' 10" - and 150 lbs.
I work out moderately, and I am currently working on my pull-ups (overhand grip). I used to not be able to do any, but am no able to do 10. Sometimes I will do 9, sometimes 11 or 12, but it seems that I have kind of plateaued around that area. How can I start gaining results in my pull-ups again.

try focusing on hitting your lats. do this by hanging freely from the bar with your arms straight, count 2 seconds, then pull yourself up in a controlled manner, hold for a second, then lower yourself slowly. repeat it to failure, until you cannot possibly do anymore, it might be like 5 or 6 reps only. then rest for about 2-3 minutes or until you think you're ready to do another set then go for a second set. do the same and again rest and do a final third set to failure again. the next day, your lats should be aching which shows you done a good job, if not then you didn't work hard enough. hope i helped you out here. oh yeh and make sure your hands are shoulder-width apart.
