Toned calves?!?!


Question: i can't go swimming in my pool, i can't wear shorts, capris, skirts or anything! even in phys ed..i hate my legs!

what can i do to tone my calves? i've always had this problem and really need help. my uncle was a personal trainer and told me to put weights on my leg and lift my heel..i found that boring and takes too long to see results.. help! advice?

also, my thighs.they aren't REALLY bad, but bad enough that i don't go swimming anymore, which sucks if i have a pool. public. if i could get started on my thighs toned, it wouldn't be so bad. i don't want to start getting celulite!! help pleasee! my friends are all so much skinnier then me.
since i dont show my legs, i don't moisturize my legs too often, which makes it bleed whenever i shave before phys ed!

Drink lots of water. This is obvious but when you go through bootcamp you have to drink up to 12 canteens of water. One canteen is about 16 ounces. Stay away from soda and alcohol (or keep it light) since it will only dehydrate you and is full of empty calories.
Just do it. If you don't feel like running or doing those pushups, its okay, all of us have those days when getting off the couch is like superman and his kryptonite. As long as you do something the tiniest thing will help your belly busting cause.
Maintain a healthy diet. Now most of us want to eat that box of chocolates and bag of chips. You must deny this to yourself. Eat wise and get your food groups in your body. Keep one day aside for "cheating". Eat fruit instead of chips, find healthy alternatives to your snacks.
Find a physical activity that keeps you motivated. Think "run forest, run." Whether its a 1/2 mile to a marathon, jumping jacks or skipping, find something that gets you motivated and "just do it."
Try variety. Try something new if it starts getting boring. Go hiking, biking swimming.

Tips:
Here is an example of a balanced plan:
30 eight counts. Stand with feet shoulder width apart and jump down to pushup position. Do a pushup and the jump feet apart and then together. Know come back to starting position.
pushups 10 four counts. (1, 2, 3, 1) That
