Is Pita bread healthier than a loaf of white bread or a french baguette (ie Sara!
Question: Look on the package at the ingredients. It's the only way to learn what's good and what's bad.
If it's 100% whole wheat, it's good for you. If it's got a lot of sugar, white flour and high fructose corn syrup, it's bad.
Another tip when looking at labels: the lower in fiber it is, the worse it is for you.

I would say the same... you would be surprised pita's and that aren't that much better.
Just dont eat bread often, when you do just eat the kind you like.
I would cut down on the bread rather than looking for a better bread.
Bread is bread. But if you stuff a pita you eat less bread than if you made a big sandwich, especially on a baguette or a French roll. If you're trying to limit carbs, that's an advantage!
If it is white enriched it is exactly the same, if you are looking to reduce calories eat a higher fiber whole grain bread~!
