Good question - you don't want to jump in with both feet, you want to work up gently, so you are more likely to stick to it. So start with the workout sessions first, but keep your diet the same. After a week build up the amount of training, now your muscles are used to it, and start adopting your healthy eating.

do both its better

Well, when you start working out, you'll be burning more calories, so you might feel more tired or weak if you do both at once. I'd personally start the workout sessions and just be CAREFUL about what you eat. Plenty of protein and cut back (NOT eliminate) on carbs. You'll probably lose weight and/or tone up FAST! Checking with your doctor first is ALWAYS a good idea, too!!

do both together.
exercising will make you want to eat less, making it easier for you.

I find that when I start working out seriously, I naturally get more serious about a healthy diet. But that's just me. You'll need to do both to get results, but I believe in starting one healthy habit at a time and not overwhelming myself.

both together...also when cutting calories decrease slowly like first week of diet cut by 400 and add 200 every week

A healthy regime doesn't necessarily mean LESS food...it just means HEALTHIER food.

Use whole grains like whole wheat bread, brown rice, quinoa. whole wheat English muffins, whole wheat tortilla, oatmeal, etc.

Get a variety of vegetables daily...work up to 5 servings a day.
A serving is equal to:
1/2 cup cooked or chopped raw veggies
1 cup lettuce or raw spinach

Get 2-4 servings of fruit daily

Eat lean protein instead of high fat meats. Lean protein includes:
- skinless chicken breast that is roasted or broiled instead of fried.
- fat free cottage cheese
- Egg whites or "Egg Beaters" brand egg substitute...occasional real egg is also fine.
- Fish
- Small portion of red meat...the leanest you can find.

Use moderation with foods like cheese, sweets, snacky foods, cream, salad dressings, fried foods, white bread.

Do this at the same time as you start your workout sessions. No reason to separate unless you simply want to only focus on one change at a time. But it helps your workouts if you are also eating healthfully...it will give you more energy and better ability to recover.

(NOTE: you do NOT need to cut back on carbs...they are what give you energy. If you are overeating food, then you'll only need to cut back a little on ALL foods, not just one food).

All of it,, just throw yourself into this new whole routine and dont look back!!!!!!!!

Do it all at once, make it a total life-style change!!

As for me no need for regime as I am 65kg athletic body.

Start adding exercise into your routine first while on a healthy balanced diet and then adjust your calorie intake.
