When starting w/ weights (woman) what are good exercises and how many reps?!
Question: I think the best exercises are aerobics with light weights to challenge yourself. You're probably not looking to bulk up, but you want to tone up rather. You can do lunges and have two <5lb dumbells hanging straight down while doing them. Try out 3 sets of 10-15 reps each. In general you want more reps and less weight. You can also do steps, marches, and jogs while also doing curls with your arms. I'll do those for 20 minutes.
