Im not really seeing results, why?!

Question: My work out routine:
(at the gym)
I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week
15-25 min cardio
lift weights, for 35-45mins(I alternate bettween legs, and uper body)
Sometimes, I do super sets, instead of 10 reps of 3, I'll do like 10-20 reps of 5(not all the time).
I'll do set ups here and there, as well as jumping jacks, etc.

(at home)
I ride my bike about an hour all together about 5 times a week.

my diet:
I'm a vegetarian,
I eat eggs and dairy sparingly, so about once a week.
I eat sea food sometimes, about once every 2 weeks.
and I drink Muscle milk protein shakes about 5-6 times a week.
I eat like an apple and a banana everyday.
Veggies, about every other day.
Fiber, I eat cereal 3-4 times a week.
I eat a lot of protein bars, about 1 a day.

Im female, 5'3 1/2" I weigh 135lbs.
(i've lost about 10lbs in the last 3 months)
Im not skinny, I'm kind of bulky.
I have big legs,I would like to tone up a lot.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Sunlow my advice for you is to stay away from heavy weights and slow reps, instead move on to light weights and lots of reps and lots of sets this will help in toning and loosing mass! Next eat lots of fruit and veggies, fibre for protein stick to the fish and mostly different types of beans! Hope This Helps Peace & THE CREATOR BLESS!

Are you trying to lose weight or are you trying to get toned (as in not get bulky but toned enough to where things look tight)? There's a huge difference between the two.

It seems like you're doing an awesome job with a healthy lifestyle, but if you say you're kind of bulky instead of "toned", then you have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat. Since you said you lift weights, that might be the cause of it. Depending on how much you work with the weights, if you do it consistently with heavier weights, you're going to develop more muscle that's a bit on the masculine side. I lift weights, but the highest I go is 15lbs just so my arms still have that feminine shape to it but are toned. Like I said, it really depends on how much you're pushing (and also how long you've been going to the gym/eating healthy).

Your best bet is to consult a trainer at your gym, preferably a female one, and ask her some tips on toning for females that will look good but not overly masculine. I don't know if this will help, i'm not sure if you were asking to lose weight or tone in general, but good luck!

It sounds like you are doing really well and maybe you're close to where you should be..Check out the website below, it is the best I have ever read about nutrition. You should first check out your BMI (Body Mass Index) and go from there. You have lost a lot in 3 months. Gauge yourself for a longer period of time in losing and you will succeed to keep it off. take care.

the muscle milk REALLY has to go...that thing has a lot of calories and you're a female so you don't have the same testosterone level as a male to build muscle...keep away from the muscle milk...thats why you're not seeing any results! and the protein bars need to go because that has more calories than a regular candy bar most of the time...you're diet is like for getting real muscular...dont do that
