How do you go about loosing weight...i have tried every diet in the book......?!

1st off you have to be 110% commited. You may think you are committed but are you really? Can you do without the late night snacks? Can you stop at one serving of your favorite meal? I have been on diets all my life. I thought i was ready each time. BUt I wasnt. How do I know this? Because I could not do without all the extra. 1 year ago I decided that I could not live with myself if i did not do something. I joined weight watchers and visited my dr. With weight watchers and the help of my dr I lost down from a size 22-24 to a size 16. I am not completely where I want to be, but I am still working on it. You can never go back to your old way of eating. You must understand it is going to be a life change or you will gain everything back. My hardest thing is getting in the exercise. The key is to find someone that will work with you. Find someone at work that is dieting and work together. Cheer each other on... If you mess up--- dont give up just get up the next day and get back on track.... DO NOT GIVE UP.

what i mean by don't eat is that u change ur diet by eating less and exercising.

All I did was eat less. Nothing is disallowed, you just eat less. 1500 calories per day. Then 1800 or so when you have slimmed down. You eat something fatty, you get to eat less later. That works for me.

First off, stop trying every diet in the book. Read about a particular diet that you are interested in. Learn why it is scientifically beneficial for you. You should be able to match a diet to your particlar issues without wandering from one diet to another. Then stick with the diet before running off to experiment with something else. Learn to make tweaks.

I have been on Atkins for 5 years. The tweaks I have made to that diet is intermittent fasting and adding coconut oil to my diet. Both have helped enormously and my body even repsonds better to exercise.

Diets don't work..You need to eat less and eat the right foods..Eating two fruits a day plus two vegetables with every meal is the first step.Eat off of a salad plate instead of a dinner plate.Eat no more than one piece of wheat bread a day and Pasta only one a week..also once a week for potatoes..This will ensure that you eat the right portions..don't go back for seconds..drink one 4 oz glass of water before , during and after each meal..This feels you up and makes you so full you won't want anything else..eat your fruits as a snack in between meals..If you can walk or exercise then do so..30 minutes of cardio( fast pace walking) a day is great for you.
