Cardio/Fat burning question?!

Question: Situation-

Say my body needs exactly 2000 calories a day, and I eat exactly 2000 calories each day.

One day, I eat an extra 500 calories, and do a HIIT cardio workout immediately after and burn exactly 500 calories.

After this, will I have less fat than when I started, even if it's a small amount less? Or exactly the same?

Thanks :)

Exercise burns calories no matter what happens. The difference between calories from fat and calories from extra stores of sugar in the muscles is time. YOu need to do constant cardio for over 20 minutes before you get into your fat stores.

Then you're burning fat calories.

One day won't make much difference, It's consistent caloric intake + consistent exercise. An odd 500 calories now and then isn't important. Your body doesn't have an internal calculator.
