Wow same here!!! i have played baseball all my life too and i was always a 3rd basemen or 1st. well one day i was goofin off before practise catching and whippin the ball down to second. im 6'1. so im a big kid, kinda lanky i wiegh 170. well i played catcher since then and all was good till about last year when my knees started to hurt and i pulled my shoulder a little. well u know those knee saver things that go on the back strap of ur knee?? i had them and it made a bid diffrence. when i was little i didnt have them and that helped. also before a game put ice on your knees and watch a little tv.( i walk to my games because it isnt very far)after i ce my knees jog a little that helps alot.and a trick ive learned is to make your pitcher throw ffastballs alot so your not diving all over the backstop.
P.S drink alot!!!!!!!!!!!! i hurt my lower back last year and i didnt catch for a good 6 games because it was hot lots of water not gatorade. water!

you could work on your grammar then go practice with friends

try building the strength back in your knees.

go out and catch as much as you can. maybe run a bit.

ice your knees.

maybe some wall sits and squats would help.

start to throw with your dad or a friend outside of practice.
