I need help with losing weight?!


Question: I am 14, male, 5' 5", and 127 lbs. I want to lose some weight. I want to try to lose 5 lbs of fat. But my friends say that because I'm a small build I should be putting weight on. I do want to build some muscle but lose fat. How much fat should I lose and how fast can I do it?

At 5'5 your ideal weight would be 135 lbs so 127 lbs is fine.

Sounds like you might need some toning and that means exercising. Working out in the gymn will certainly give you extra muscles. Besides the gym you could also take up swimming for toning purposes and the more laps you do every day the better.
