Following the regimen you describe, you should see changes, but don't expect them overnight. The problem you pose is that you are only going to develop certain muscles. Push-ups will develop your chest and your triceps, and sit ups will develop your abs, but that's it!

You aren't doing anything to develop your biceps, back, or legs, and you don't want to develop unequally because then you will look weird. Everything you say you are going to do is fine, just add some things to it. Doing pull ups will develop your bi's and your back, and jogging and running will help develop some of the muscles in your legs. Basically, if you add pullups to your routine you will develop more evenly.

Steer clear of all fried foods, and fatty foods. A diet rich in protein and good carbs, such as brown rice and broccoli should do well for you. For protein, eat fish and chicken (grilled or baked) and try to stay away from beef unless it's real lean. Hope this helped and good luck!!

Oh...one last thing. People show development at different rates, but what I would do if I were you is to take some close up pictures of your arms and chest and tummy, etc. Then compare that to the way you look 1 month later then 2 months later, etc. At your young age, you should start seeing some results within a month or two I would think.

What's your goal?

Depends on what you want to do, are you trying to cut up and get skinny? If I were trying to cut up, I would do this exercise, but I would increase the push-ups and the sit-ups to burn out and I would do the push-ups every other day and the sit-ups everyday.. Like I said depends on your goal! Well goodluck!

You must have *at least* one day off between workouts to give your body time to recover.

Over exercise and you are at risk of injury.

I had a neighbour who ran everyday, at the last count he needed two hip replacements and two knee replacements.
