If you really want to see quick results I would check out www.bodyforlife.com. If you go to amazon and search for the book body for life you'll find it. It tells you exactly what to eat and how to work out to see the most dramatic results in only 12 weeks. If you have the dedication to do the workouts like it tells you too you'll be amazed and no your waist will not get bigger. Your upper body & legs will get bigger because your muscles will grow. YOu will need to add a lot of protein to your diet.

abs respond very quickly if exercises are done correctly. better to do fewer reps in good form than more reps with bad form. bad form will cause you to use your hip flexers rather than your ab muscles and you could possibly hurt your back. ab muscles unlike other muscles may be worked everyday, but every third day is enough. start with ten reps and work your way up.

Get Abs Now - 3 Easy Exercises

Forget the crunch and side bends, here are three ab exercises, using only very simple equipment, will hit your abs in ways they've never felt before.
Each exercise targets one of the three major planes of movement, sagittal, frontal, and transverse. This will give you a true total abdominal workout. To fully develop the core, you MUST work the core musculature in all three major planes. Standard crunches, side bends, and leg raises? They only work one!
