Thanks!

I swear by Slimquick. (howwomenloseweight.com) It targets the 6 culprits that inhibit a female body from losing weight. But it is no miracle pill...in reality, there is not one miracle pill out there! It is just a great weight loss supplement to go with a healthy diet (more vegetables, lean meat, fruits...real nourishing food, not artificial ones) , and an excercise plan that is fit for your own body.
I have been combining these three factors for the past month, and I have seen results...abou 5-10 pounds off. Healthy weight loss= losing 1-2lbs. per week. But honestly, the scale is not of an importance to me anymore...I track my accomplishments by how my clothes are fitting, and of course my greater sense of well-being.

On a last note, I recommend that if you take any diet pill...that you : 1) Go through the research (look at the ingredients, consumer reviews, side effects, pro's & con's, pricing)
2) Realize what your real purpose is to lose weight... and it should NEVER be for others, or to look like certain anorexic celebrities/individuals. It should be for you and for your LONG-TERM health.
3) Determine your BMI. (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bmi-cal...
Make sure that you fall into the Normal Range. If not, determine the amount of pounds to lose/gain in order to get yourself to your standard healthy weight.
4) Start taking a multivitamin ( I personally like One-A-Day for Women), a Vitamin C Supplement 500 or 1000mg, and also Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplement. Plan a sensible diet, that incorporates MORE healthy foods than unhealthy, processed ones. Before you eat a certain type food, think about what can that certain food do for you emotionally and biologically in the long run. If you are not presently excercising...join as a member at your local gym. If that's not possible, then enjoy the outdoors by taking brisks walks/runs a few times a week. Rent some aerobic/yoga dvds. Those are fun! :)
5) Look to others for help, even better...join a community board that includes real women and their adventures in diets, weight-loss, female issues etc.
6)Be realistic about your weight-loss. Personally, I don't like the word weight-loss... it's more about a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. I recommend Bob Greene's book, The Best Life Diet. Read it for some great tips, advice, and healthy recipes. It has a lot of motivational quotes for life in general as well.

Good luck with everything! If you fall out of the bandwagon by eating a scrumptious chocolate cupcake at 11pm (aah!)...don't beat yourself up and don't EVER give up. We're human and we WILL have these tendencies. Just pick yourself back up and remind yourself about your long-term goals. Little moments that satisfy you (ex. cupcake) only last for how long? That's right, just that moment. It's not worth killing your long-term goals for that little evil cupcake :)

Slimming World is fantastic. It is not a diet it is a way of life by changing your eating habits.

a good way for stop craving that late night snack or piece of cake is to drink white vinegar it takes Ur appetite away just one glass after eating and that's it

Eating small (healthy) meals throughout the day. It helps to prevent overeating because you don't feel like you are starving or anything, and it helps keep your metabolism high.

I always eat breakfast. Either some whole wheat cereal with fruit or some whole wheat toast with peanut butter for protein..stuff like that.

I have a midmorning snack, such as a banana or some raisins.

For lunch I usually have soup or a lean cuising. Lately I have been packing a little container with turkey, fruit, and crasins (cranberry raisins) and it fills me up.

Afternoon snack (something small and healthy, like yogurt or a special K bar)

For dinner I usually eat a lean cuisine or a salad and some soup. Stuff like that.

I work out five days a week for at least an hour...I mix up my routine and I do classes two days a week (spin class and a toning class).

I don't know, works for me!

I know it sounds cliche but my biggest changes have come with a mindset change. Ever since I made up my mind to change my eating habits forever, I have lost over 35 lbs.

The key is to understand that food is an addiction, especially the enriched food that we eat everyday like white bread, donuts, pretzels, etc. Changing your habits does not mean eating less or not eating the foods you like - it really means finding a healthy substitute. For example, I have changed my grocery shopping habits - I substituted my bread with "Pepperidge Farm VERY THIN whole wheat bread". I used to always shop for low carb or low fat, but now I actually take a quick peek at the ingredients and check for the five absolute no-no's:
1) Hydrogenated oil
2) Sugar
3) High Fructose Corn syrup
4) Enriched flour
5) Bleached flour

Remember that ingredients are listed in the order of the most used ingredient followed by the next most used ingredient and so on. I made substitutions in my diet based on these guidelines. Another good idea is to shop at a whole foods store or organic store since a lot of the stuff is pretty healthy anyway (but beware - not all of it is).

Another thing to change is your "weak" time of the day. My weakest time of the day was around 11:30 pm - I would munch and munch and before I knew it, I had eaten almost 500 - 1000 calories of very unhealthy food. I changed a few habits:
1) I started by adding 1 -2 slices of fat free cheese between two "quaker cheddar" rice cakes and added some hummus to it - that makes it about 200 calories. So I didnt eliminate food completely, but I drastically cut down the calories and the unhealthy ingredients.
2) I started going to sleep 30 minutes earlier, and
3) I started gargling with listerine to have a fresher mouth.

Its amazing how much you can fool your body. If you atleast start with this basic guideline of eating, along with some discipline and a little exercise, you will see amazing results and just have a better life in general.
Remember, we are born weak and we will die weak...how we live in between is upto us.
All the best!
