Eating Garlic?!

Question: I love the feeling I get after I eat Raw Garlic. I really hate the burning feeling I get while I'm eating it. I try drinking water or something, but it still burns like crazy. Does anyone know a chaser or something that you can eat at the same time or after you eat the garlic to prevent the superburn?

i have done the same thing you have done... because garlic is so raw and bitter and strong. you should try drinking it down with something sweet like apple juice, or grape juice, ice tea, but not orange juice, because it is too acidic...

A good garlic supplement will work just as well and has not flavor...it's the equivalent of four cloves...what's needed by the body to make a difference internally.

Try mixing it with some plain natural or unsweenened Greek yoghurt. Tastes really great, and it doesn't burn!

If you put the garlic in a small amount of lemon juice and olive oil and let it sit for a little while, I find it that the sting (and smell) decreases a little without giving away too much from the great taste!

And of course the Middle Eastern way of putting garlic into yogurt always works great!
