I have a tennis match today. What should I eat before? It doesnt start until 4:0!

Question: What should I eat before my tennis match tomorrow afterschool. I have carbohydrate inolerance. What do I do?
Hi,
I am a teenage female athlete, and tomorrow, I have a tennis match, but it doesnt start until 4:00 pm. I have lunch at 12:30, and then I have a hip hop class that is an hour long after that, then warm up, then my match. What should I have for lunch and before my match to keep my energy up. I will be playing singles, and the girl im playing makes the matches go for ever. She just gets everything back. Also, I have a carbohydrate intolerance, I swear to god, I have IBS, and if you want to know, there is a link if you go to google.com and type in"carbohydrate intolerance". I was just going to have some trail mix before the match, but what else should I do or eat?
Thanks.

first off, take it very easy during your hip hop class. is this a dance class or something? if you have issues w/the teacher about it, inform her of your match after class. stay away from starchy carbs (potatoes, rice etc.) you want some oats, grains and complex carbs that your body can process. I would also stay away from artificial sweets....eat some fruits and grains...don't eat greasy protein, but if yoiu can get your hands on some pasta...and some low fat protein like canned tuna or something that would be good.....also some good omega 3 fat would be good. fat is your long term energy....

about 20 min before your match, take 1-3 tablespoons of natural honey, that will give your body immediate energy while you turn your carbs into glucose....it'll be a good method to "ladder" your energy sources... natural sugar, then carbs, then proteins, then fats...should help you get through your match.

ps...MAKE SURE YOU STAY HYDRATED THROUGHOUT YOUR DAY!!!!

good luck
