What can I do to make myself disgusted when I see food?!


Question: I've been binge eating lately and was wondering, when I see something that I shouldn't have (cake, cookies, etc) that I can think or do somethin that will make me not want to eat it?

Think of all the lard and grease that is in the foods and picture it inside you. I know you can get hypnotised to hate certain foods. They give subliminal messages about what food you want to avoid. You could even try repeating that you hate whatever the food is you want to avoid over and over again every day, couple of times a day and you will start believing it. You could always picture maggots crawling in it. That actually happened to my mom when she was on a diet. She had cupcakes in a hidden place from my father and she was so hungry that she grabbed the muffin and was to busy wandering if anyone was going to catch her eating, she didn't look down at it till she took a big bite and she saw the maggots all over it and spit it everywhere. Gross

Have you ever seen what fat really looks like? It's honestly disgusting. Google up an image if you can, and when you look at these type of fatty foods, think of the image and it should gross you out enough to where you would never want to touch these kinds of foods again.

think of what it will do to your body. it's high in fat (not good fat) and sugar (not natural). it's highly addictive. it will make you go right back down to where you were at when you start to diet. it will make you crave other foods. it's got hardly any protein, fiber, or vitamins in it. so, it's not really good for your body. long term eating can lead to tiredness, sickness and even in most severe cases disease. it can also affect your behaviour and emotions.
