How bad are late night snacks if they're healthy?!

Question: I like to eat late at night but I feel gross if it's unhealthy.

So usually I'll have strawberries or small bowl of salad (1 calorie spray dressing) or half peanutbutter sandwhich etc

Is that really going to kill me?

no it's not going to kill you (although i would avoid the peanutbutter sandwhich). A healthy snack at night is a much better option than binge eating on chips and junk. The reason people say it isn't a good idea to eat right before bed is because your body doesn't have time to burn it off, but others believe when you eat has nothing to do with it. I say if you really feel like you deserve those strawberries for all your hard work during the day, go for it! :)

No... its more about not burning off all thoughts calories you ain't going to burn from just watching TV etc. Lest its strawberries and not chocolate ice cream like me:P

yes. your stomach needs to rest during the night together with your body. u shouldn't eat anything after 6 pm. give your body a complete resrt

i think its fine
.........no probs.......as long as you burn it off next day as best u can

No, but make sure the sandwich bread is whole wheat.

no honey. it won't kill you. over time though it could lead to weight gain. i used to eat a lot at night. chocolate, haagen-daaz etc., i ended up gaining a lot of weight. now, i am on a diet and am much thinner. my advice is to eat a good dinner and call it quits after that.
