How Fast Can I loose 10lbs?!


Question: If I eat 1500 calories max a day, and do cardio for 1-2 hours a day and lift for about 30-45's a day? I'm 15, 190, and 6'2" I'm in good BMI shape, just want to tone up a bit, and loose a little excess weight for track, to take off a few seconds on my dashes. OR if any advise to loose it faster, I will not go under 1000 calories a day. I'm open for suggestions too. :D I'm in good shape and most of the cardio will be a minuim of 7mph running for miles at a time, and warm ups for atleast 15 minutes before and with water of course..

If you want to cut weight and increase your speed you want HIIT workouts, not really long cardio session like what your talking about. When you jog or run for an extended period of time, your body enters a Steady State in which your body adjusts and you actually burn LESS calories for the same effort. HIIT Sessions are constantly throwing your body off guard and never letting it adapt. Plus the best part is they only take about 12-20 minutes a day. A Sample HIIT session would be Jog for 90 seconds, spring for 30, continue jogging for another 80 then spring for 35 and so on. You want to change up the time and distance for maximum effect. i really think that you should just keep doing exactly what your doing, even if you dont look really skinny or muscular it doesnt matter, because its obvious that your fit. and thats all that matters.
