That might be hard to do. But it is not impossible.

Start out with a food journal, it will help you keep track of what you are eating and the calories you are burning with your exercise. As long as you are taking in as much as you burn or a little bit more you should be fine.

As for foods:
Drink plenty of fluids, eat fruits veggies, whole grains etc.

As long as you eat a diet low in saturated fats you should be fine with whatever you want to eat really. An indication that you have saturated fat in your food is if the label says hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fat. Fast food/restaurants also have large amounts of fat in their food. The good thing about a food journal (especally an electronic one) is that not only will you see how many calories you are taking in but it will do a break down of the vitamins you need and the % of each you are getting. You will then be able to see if you are taking in too much fat or sodium and what foods are causing it.

As for exercise, choose something that is entertaining to you. If you like sports join a team, if you like to dance take a class or buy a video and practice at home. Personally I enjoy the Goddess belly dancing videos. It was a great way for me to get in shape. The key to exercising is, if you enjoy it you are more likly to stick to it/ want to do it. I quit a lot of things I didn't like to try to get into shape and had to find the motivation to start again.

Start lifting weights! Eat foods high in protein and eat lots and lots of fresh veges and fruits! Stay away from all junk food like soda, sweets, and fast food! Stay away from red meat too! Eat fish and poultry(chicken, duck, turkey, goose)! Hope i helped!
