How can i figure out how many points i get per day on weight watchers?!


Question: I would like to know how many points i can get per day useing the Weight Watchers? plan.. id like to drop some weight, and am curious how to calulate how many id get.. im also cheap thats why im not paying.. Hopeing someone else out there is in it and can hook me up..

You are in luck as i have been following the plan since late Jan 2008.
Here is how you work out your points:

1. Are you:
Female = score 3
Male = score 9

2.Are you a breast feeding mother?
No = score 0
Yes (full time) = score 10
Yes (Supplementing breastfeeding with solid foods)=
Score 5

3.How old are you?
16 - 20 = score 5
21 - 35 = score 4
36 - 50 = score 3
51 - 65 = score 2
Over 65 = score 1

4. How many stones do you weigh, (ignore the lbs), the number of stones is you score for this question. Some who weighs 12st 4lb will score 12 for example.

5.How tall are you?
Under 5ft 4ins = score 1
Over 5ft 4in & above = score 2

6. In your day to day life are you:
Sitting down most of the time = score 0
Occassionally sitting, but mainly standing = score 2
Walking most of the time = score 4
Doing physical hard work most of the time = score 6

Now add up your score and this is your daily points allowance.

Retake the quiz when: when weight drops down a stone, you go into a new age bracket, your daily activity changes, you begin or stop breastfeeding.

For good health the minimum daily points allowance is 16 points and the maximum is 40 - if you are outside this range.

If you do half an hour of exercise ie, swimming / gym, you get an extra two points on top of your daily allowance.
