Fitness Yoga - first timer.?!


Question: I'm going to a Fitness Yoga class tonight at my gym, never done on before so what will it be like do you think?

I normally go to the gym and do 20 minutes weights and 40-60 minutes cardio if this makes a difference.

Yoga is different 2 weight lifting & doing cardio or other exercises. It involves both ur body as well as ur mind & refreshes both. U feel lighter both physically & mentally after yoga. Ur concentration increases along with flexibility of body.
Try it. U would love it.

you'll use muscles you didnt know you had end probably end up hurting for a short time after, but its definately worth it.

You'll be fine. Yoga has a completley different concept than a regular cardio and weights work out but you will be fine. Is yoga fitness different to just yoga?
In a yoga class you will begin with a breathing and meditation warm up, followed by standing postures and then floor postures. Basically yoga is a series of postures which have spiritual and healing effects on the body. You can go into the postures as intense or as relaxed as you want so there is no pressure to perform out of your comfort zone. Just remember to keep breathing and enjoy yoga!
