If you can walk over 400m without rest you probably don't need the gastric bypass. A gastric bypass is serious surgery, you have to remember every time you go under the knife there is a chance of the unfortunate happening, and there are always complications that could occur. In your posting you forgot to list some of your relevant personal info.

I'm just finishing up my personal success story I'm 5ft 8in, this time last year i weighed 245, had a waist of 39 in. I tried a bunch of various diets all with no success. But after a bit of persuasion a friend of mine motivated me to go to the gym.
5 months later after a regular routine and watching what i ate i lost over 50 lbs. And now after few more months and some strength training I weigh 182 (as of last weigh in) my waist is 32in, forearms are 13in, biceps are 16, and I've got some good pecs going on.

all the best and I pray it goes okay I am 3 stone overweight and feel bad

you haven't tried losing weight that right way because diet and exercise works for all human beings. I guarantee you have not tried to follow a diet of whole foods that you need to cook from scratch for every meal.

at 17 the last thing you want to do is permanently change the physiology of your digestive tract. Dr's have no idea what the long term effects of these operations are

just stop eatingg..
