The treadmill is great. If you can, try to pick up the speed a little and use it atleast 30 minutes. Go for a brisk walk or faster. Start slow and work your way up to a bit faster each time, so your body gets used to it and doesnt get too stressed.

I can tell you a trick that will make dieting sooo much easier.
Most people take away foods when they want to diet, my suggestion is to ADD healthy foods and eat them first. If you add a small salad in front of your meals, you will get full faster and be less likely to over eat on the not so good for you stuff.

Foods you can eat first that will help fill you up are:
a few slices of apple,
a handful of nuts like peanuts, cashews, or almonds (not a bag now, a handful, like 20 nuts or less)
a salad
a glass of water or unsweetened tea

These all get the stomach working and will help you feel full quicker, without making you feel hungry or like you are dieting.

Another trick is to eat a nice big breakfast and a lighter dinner, instead of the other way around. A lot of people barely eat anything at breakfast time but go crazy at dinner. This slows your metabolism as you have no new energy to start your day and tons of calories waiting just before you go to bed. Let breakfast and lunch be treat time, make dinner the lighter meal. Breakfast and lunch are better to be healthy foods still, but let them be the calorie heavy ones. Add a piece of fruit to your breakfast routine. Make sure you are eating something, like peanut butter on toast, a bowl of cereal, something like that. Then eat a banana, apple, or orange. It can help a lot!

Other tricks are to watch your beverages. Dont drink soda or diet soda, the carbonation makes you retain water and the sugar and sugar substitutes are no good for you. If you really enjoy them, have one. Just dont have MORE than one. I make a rule that I only have soda when I go out to eat. Some people pick a meal, like lunch, and say they can only have it then. Whatever fits you, you will fill better and might lose around 8 pounds this year if you cut back on your soda intake. Avoid sugar added beverages and whole milk, instead go for water, unsweetened tea, coffee without milk and sugar, skim milk, that sort of thing. You will lose weight and feel better and lighter.

Drink more water! Drinking water can make a big difference. Try to make sure you get your 8 glasses a day and it will regulate your body, keep you hydrated, and keep you from feeling as hungry. Often when people get a snack craving, they are actually thirsty. Its hard for your body to tell the difference. Any time you want a snack, drink a glass of water and wait 5 minutes. If you STILL want the snack, then you were hungry. If you dont, then you were thirsty.

Good luck!

keep tryin

eat health food! lay off the sweets and chips and like drinkk water alot! that works!
:D

after you run.. do crunches

There isn't any thing anyone can tell you that will help you I mean in order to lose weight you need to cut down on your calories depending on you is how many calories you should have a total intake. So its kinda like eat better, eat better, eat better, exercise. When you look at it don't look at it as a diet look at it as just a new change to your life. If you truly want this you can do it. Also try green tea pills they are awesome just to get you started.

In my experience, organic and all-natural foods are the way to go! All of the preservatives in processed foods can really bog down your system. Many people don't realize it, but your liver is a fat-burning organ! It helps to regulate your metabolism and can put your body on a fast-track to losing weight. I've lost close to 30 pounds just by switching to foods that are natural.

Also, I've always had a hard time with cheating... What helps this is if you simply plan ahead what you will eat the next day, and carry around healthy snacks.

Congratulations on your success and good luck!

every day for 5 miles 3 meals a day no deserts and no second helpings, use medium plates and 1 of them should be a salad if you run you will get a 6 pack

eat nothing but meats and salads for 1 month. you will lose some of that flab,,,,,,jim..

Try yoga and pilate as an addition to cardio such as your treadmill. these exercises work from the core of the body and will give you a leaner longer look and feel. the treadmill in my opinion works more on legs and hips. drink one or two pure green tea (long before bedtime as it contains caffeine). organic food is said to be good but not always economical so cook up some alternative healthy food. personally i think a little bit of everything is good as long as its fairly moderate and as an addition, you can burn off the calories 90mins after you've eaten by doing some exercise. i hear eggs (1-2 a day), tomatoes, grapefruit, flaxseed oil are great for fat metabolism too. also deep breathing through the nostril and a long slow exhalation either through mouth or nostril will help with bloating stomach - do this for about 10-15 reps a day. as many times you like during the day. hope this helps
