I want thick thick legs but not the fat kinds. help?!

Question: im super skinny

Answers: im super skinny

LOL i just answered a question similar to yours, so I'll give you similar advice. First, just because your skinny, does not mean you can't tone your body and define your muscles. First, there is a difference between bodybuilding, which is putting on muscle mass, and toning the muscles in your body, which is decreasing fat tissue and replacing it with muscle. Squatting is the best leg workout you can do. Use a weight your comfortable with. I suggest maybe, 15 to 20 solid repititions. This will will add lean muscle mass on your legs quickly and effectively. Don't worry, your thighs won't get bulky with muscle though, but they will look better and more defined. In bodybuilding, you should be doing about 1 to 8 repitions to build a large amount of muscle mass. But you probably don't wanna do that. If you don't do this and just stick to 15 - 20 reps, then this will work for you perfectly. Best of luck to you.
P.S. Squatting is not the only way to work your thighs. Try doing leg extension and leg curls on a machine, if you have the equipment. These are isolation movements, that soley work on the upper part of the leg. The leg extension works your quads, and the leg curls work your hamstrings (and your calves a little bit). By hitting these muscle groups directly, you will get the results your looking for much faster. However, squatting is the best workout you can do for your legs, so I recommend doing both. Also, to help your calves more, hold dumbells to your sides, or a barbell over your shoulders, and stand on your tip toes about 2-4 seconds. This will add some definition to your calves. Again, good luck! =D

excerise and weight training might help but i suspect your fighting genetics,my advice would be to love the you God made you

why would you want thick legs? i would do anything for super skinny thighs! but if you really want to thicken up a bit, you should try running and/or leg exercises such as lunges or ski jumps.

One of the greatest ways to bulk up your legs is rollerblading and stair climbers. Step aerobics is also a good option but being "super skinny" may not be as advantageous as other forms of muscle massing for your legs.

Best of luck.

You should try doing squats. Do around 10-15 a day and couple it with jogging. Playing soccer and working out on an elliptical machine helps too.

Good luck!
