I've lost weight and I do ab work-outs...now how can I get my abs hard?!?!?!

Question: Ok, I gained some weight during college and after graduation I joined the gym and I've lost a lot of chub...I get a lot of complement, which is great! I'm 24 years old.

My stomach has gone down, so I'm very happy. I wear size 4/6 in pants. I do a lot of ab crunches and other ab workouts and I do alottt of cardio (gym 4 days a week for cardio and weights)
But now what??? Where do I go from here? How do I go to the next step of getting HARD ABS? I'm not trying to look like a model, but I do want my abs to be toned like my arms and legs. When I'm dressed, I look fine...but once I take my top off, I dont really like what I see. I still feel kinda fat, whic is no good!

Please Help....what else can I do?

oh, and I eat pretty well....I've done lots of research on healthy eating, etc. and I follow it (I dont splurge too often).

to get hard abs, you have to work out hard by adding weights during working out. i have seen people doing abs exercise but without weights or resistant. they r wasting their energy and time. my favorite ab machine is the one that you can add weights to it. i use 60 lbs to 110 lbs to get my ab hard

planks!!!!!

get a personal trainer they can help you get rock hard abs

It sounds to me like your doing allthe rihgt things so just keep at it and you'll see results soon don't get discouraged. send a picture if you want a visual opinion. NO I'm not a perv.

Just keep up the good work.

I've found the best thing for abs is Pilates, but do it in a class instead of at home. The live instructor will be able to push you farther and make sure you're doing it correctly.
Not that you have a problem with driving yourself, you are super motivated to go to the gym that often. Make sure you're talking to your doctor though so you're not overdoing the excercise.
