Cardio is key: to burn fat, you must do cardio exercise. 30 minutes a day 3 times a week is a good way to start, when you feel ready you should increase it to 30 minutes 6 days a week.

To tone and get your 6 pack, you should make sure to do a variety of exercises. Crunches alone will not give you a 6 pack.

An excellent workout is the "Biggest Loser Workout". It's the workout they use on the show, and you don't have to be overweight to use it. The trainers offer a variety of exercises that tone and target major problem areas. Here is some more information about it: http://www.prevention.com/biggestloserfi...

To do what you want, you have to lose overall body fat. A 6 pack is more a result of diet and overall weight loss than it is about ab exercises (though ab exercises are important too). You will never see a six pack unless you reach a certain body fat percentage.

So, my suggestion is to start doing cardio at home. Buy a taebo tape or something like that, or get a treadmill, cross trainer etc and do cardio 3-4 times a week for 40 minutes or so. At the end of some of your cardio sessions, do a variety of ab exercises. These are too hard to explain without pictures, so I suggest typing "ab exercises" in google and checking out some of the ones you can do.

for your abs try this lay on your back, put your hand over your head on the floor you can even hold on to something heavy to keep you down and then lift your legs up and down it burns but it works really good!
