Is this a good weight loss rate?!

Question: I lost 5lbs in 11 days.

Is this too slow or perfect?

I think its just right

sounds alright to me!

That's pretty fast, actually. Maybe not "The Biggest Loser" fast, but those people are in a camp with trainers and you're not.

good work congrats!!

Word of advice:

Lose 1-2 lbs a week is safest way to go! You are doing just fine! Congratulation!!!!!!!

Depends on what your weight was beyond those 11 days, and the circumstances surrounding your weight loss. Did it go back up a few pounds, or continue downward? Your body weight can fluctuate dramatically over the course of the day due water consumption and loss, food intake, going to the bathroom, and what you're wearing. I can step on the scale in the morning and have my scale read 204 wearing warmups, a t-shirt, socks, and shoes, but later in the day weigh in at 210 wearing different shoes and a pair of jeans. Did I gain 6 pounds over the course of the day? Of course not. My clothing, food and water intake, and bathroom use all have an effect on my weight. My scale is a digital one that reads up to tenths of a pound (i.e 204.2 lbs). I can weigh myself at 204.2, go number one, weigh myself again, and weigh 203.2. I lost a pound just by going to the bathroom! No, I shed liquid weight, not body weight. Get a digital scale and try weighing yourself throughout the day; you'll be amazed at the fluctuations.

The most accurate way to weigh yourself is in the morning, on an empty stomach, naked, after you go to the bathroom. This way there is nothing contributing to your body weight that isn't actual body weight.
