this question really depends on how far you're willing to go. theres the banana milk diet, where you only eat banana (3) and drink milk (2 glasses) for like 10 days and lose like 10 pounds. you can do the special K diet, which means you eat special K for two meals and a regular third, plus 2 snacks and regular beverages.

i personally recommend just cutting down your carbs. for a week or two, avoid (try to do so completely) bread, cereal, etc. focus more on lean meats and vegetables and fruits. drink a LOT of water. this really worked for me-- also excercise regularly. make sure you sweat when you work out, or you know its not worth it. i usually jog a mile then do pilates or tae bo (kickboxing). oh-- and one more thing--
ABSOLUTELY NO DESSERTS. no cookies, cake, whatever.

sorry if this doesnt help you, but it really did help me get in shape. remember one thing though, if you do decide to try it-- there aren't any shortcuts. don't bother doing it if you're not going to be committed. since you took the first step by trying to find out, i assume you are. good luck!

It's not going to happen. Relax and enjoy your break.

You cna't loose a pound a day!

its only healthy to lose 3 lbs a week at the most........

Wrestlers can lose 8 lbs a day. How they do it? I dunno. From what I seen, lotsa water and constant running, no food. It's not healthy, but if you're crazy enough, ask a high school wrestler.

That would be very difficult unless you're on Biggest Loser. Reduce calories, no alcohol, walk more, no sugary sodas, lots of fresh fruit and no fatty salad dressings

Yeah but you have to cut your calories like in half, not eat after 6pm and walk or jog 45 minutes a day.

the only thing that's on my mind right now is for you to drink water (with a slice of lemon) in place of your meals for these 6 days and exercise for at least 1 1/2 hours each day.
It worked for one of my friends but it can cause future health problems . I wouldn't recommend you to try it, but it's just a risking method I know that works. ...hope that helps (though please don't injure yourself)

No it's not crazy. Go on a fast, drink only water, and you'll be fine, and you'll actually lose more that,!
First day: Eat nothing, in the late afternoon, drink 16 to 20 oz of prune juice.
Second day: Eat nothing, drink lots of filtered fresh water.
On second day and on give yourself an enema, waste is still accumulating in your bowels, it needs to be flushed out.
Go on long walks, when you come off the fast, eat only fresh raw vegetables (very small amounts), drink juice.

Of course you can lose a pound every day. But to do so, you need to go on a "no white" diet. When you're on this diet, you can't eat anything with sugar, white flour, rice, or dairy products. Here's a meal plan for a day that'll get you started. When I did this meal plan, I lost one and a half pounds every day.

Breakfast: A slice of wheat bread, glass of water

Lunch: A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with wheat bread, an applesauce, a glass of water

Dinner: A normal meal with a glass of water, but no dessert

You're going to want to skip any snacks in the morning and in the afternoon. At about three in the afternoon, run a few miles in less than a half an hour. Remember, you're motivation is looking great, so whenever you're about to quit, just think of how amazing you'll look when you're done! Good luck!
