Why the hell am i still hungry help me not be so fat!!!!!!!!!!?!


Question: breakfast- 1/2 cup black beans 110cal
2/3 cup peas 70 cals
1 whole wheat toast 110cals
1/2 cup fiber one cereal dry 60calories (14grams of fiber too!!! 57%)

lunch- bag of pretzels 110calories

after school snack
1 grapefruit
2 sweet&low packets 0 cals
4 lemons with salt

dinner
bowl of black beans 200 cal
and some peas 100 cals
(more than breakfast)
1/4 cup of tvp 80cals (12 grams of protein)


additional/drinks today:
and ate like 20 sugarfree gums today (helps me stay focused in clases, dont ask )
4 cups og hot green tea throughout the day
tons of water!!!!!
1 cup of decaf coffe




i ate a load and its 8pm my stomachs hungry but i dont wana eat it's too late at night and im on a diet should i go to sleep early or what????????????????????????????

and do you think i ate ok???????
btw im 15yrs old, vegan, 5", 122lbs EW!!!!!!

5 feet and 122lbs is not "so fat" at all! It sounds like you're trying really hard to eat healthy. I for one couldn't imagine eating beans and peas for breakfast; however I don't have a huge morning appetite. : )

What is making you hungry is a lack of protein. I've heard that a lack of protein is a problem for a lot of vegans, because most high-protein foods are meats. The beans do have some protein, and I assume that's why you're eating them. Also the TVP has 12 grams of protein... that's good, but you ate it for dinner. I would try eating a lot of your protein in the morning to get you through the day. I don't know how strict of a vegan you are, but one idea is to supplement with cheese. You can also try making a strawberry-banana shake (use any fruit, for that matter) but add a serving of vanilla-flavored protein powder. The protein powder gives you long-term energy, and the vanilla flavor makes the shake really yummy!

Eat 5 meals a day thats why you are getting hungry. Try veggies in the middle with some fruits. 2.5 to 3 hours intervals between each meal.

well your only 15, still in puberty, where is your protein, your carbs? being that you are still going through puberty you need to have more nutrition since your body uses so much to continuosly grow. even tho you are vegan you can still get your protein through shakes and other methods. this should help you become more "full".

as far as your milk, im guessing you drink soy..... im not sure the difference between all the different kinds of vegietarians...
i was at supplementinfo.org and i was looking up isoflavones, which soy is, and it said that from studies that have been done, soy is capable of raising a certain cell count in the breast that leads to breast cancer. just fyi.
