Has anyone tried weightwatchers? What was the outcome?!

Question: I was on weight watchers for 3 years. I loved it. It was tricky at first, but then I figured it out and it worked great. I lost almost 120 pounds in 3 years, and have kept it off for 4 years now. Greatest thing I ever did.

My dad, at 56, lost over 60 pounds and has kept it off (he's now a lifetime member) For exercise, he just walked. He fell in love with walking and is now an assistant coach at 'the running room' and will be doing machu picchu this year. He easily puts his children to shame now :)

one word...FANTASTIC!!! I did it and lost the weight i needed very easily. My sister and friend also did in with the same out come. IMO it is a very healthy and positive way to diet. Everyone should do it as to me it is simply just a healthy, portioned way to eat. Plus you have online help. I still follow it even though I am not considered 'dieting' anymore and my family and I feel great! Give it a go!

I'm on weight watchers and it's going really well for me so far :) I've lost almost 30 pounds. It's taken me a while, because I lost like 13 pounds or so in a few months (yeah it sounds slow, but slow and steady wins the race, you won't gain the weight back), then stopped going to the meetings and stopped dieting because my schedule got busy, and just a few weeks ago rejoined weight watchers and it turns out I lost another 13 pounds in the 6 months or so that I'd stopped going, because I guess even though I wasn't tracking my points and stuff I'd made enough lifestyle changes to stick to it without needing to try so hard, and now I've lost another 3 or so pounds in the weeks since i've rejoined. Basically it's worked very well for me, I don't feel deprived at all, and I love the meetings and talking to others going through the same things.

I havent done it but from all the classes I have taken in Kinesiology and from outside research, it seems to be the ONLY trend diet that actually works, and does so healthily.

The thing that is best about it is that it gives the user power over their diet based on a point system. This ends up in a more permanant weight loss without relapse. I recommend it.

My sister did. The food was gross & she put the weight back on when she had finished. I told her just to eat normal, sensible meals & get an hour walk in each day, have a treat occasionaly & it worked becuase it ongoing rather than reactive & short term. Plus weight watchers costs a bomb & is a scam anyway

my bffs mom did it and lost 50 lbs-pretty fast
