I feel a bit weak lately and i don't know why?!

Question: Well, about 3 weeks ago, i could do like 50 pushups easily. Now i can only do about 30 and my arms shake more and i get tired really easily.

Does it have anything to do with diet or anything? I can't figure out why i don't have energy. I know i'm not overworking because i only do pushups every other day and on weekdays only.

When you wake up tomorrow have a big healthy breakfast..protein, carbs and all. Drink lots of water (not enough to drown yourself), then eat a big salad with a steak for lunch, drink lots of water (not enough to drown yourself) and for dinner have a good dinner with meat and carbs. Be sure to drink 10 glasses of water throughout the day or gatorade. You'll probably feel a lot better the next day! I have experienced this and find I'm lacking protein and carbs. Water is SO much more important than we realize.

get more sleep and drink milk

probaly because the time has changed.is still affecting me when i wake up in the morning

um your probally dehydrated and you should do more other exercises

get more sleep and eat fruits

you are going to pass out

You could try eating more protein and sleeping more.

It could be diet. If you are not eating enough calories you will not have as much energy for a hard workout. You may have a cold or some other virus. That is what has slowed me down, especially when I take decongestants.

There is a virus going around atm
i had it.

-lasts 2 weeks (for me)
-faint feeling
-fainting
-loss of appatite
-headaches

Ever hear the story. How are you feeling? Oh I have a weak back. How long have you had it? Oh about a week back.

well, pork buns this could possibly be your diet like you said. have you ate anything differently? or stopped eating something you used to? the body get energy by food so this must be a diet issue. perhaps you should eat more protein like bananas

If you are dieting and exercising you should be making sure your body is receiving all of the nutrients you need. your body will tell you when it needs something you have to be open enough to hear it! Take some vitamins!

yes diet can be a HUGE issue if you aren't eating right.

are u eating enough???

always remember you are what you eat , food is our fuel and we must get as much a veriety as possible , vitamins , protien , carbohydrates etc . try drinking a red bull or two 15 - 30 mins before you do push ups and see if it helps you , if it does then you will know it is what you eat that effects your push ups . if your over 50 then time catchs up on you and you will do less than when you were 20/30 yrs old . also do your push ups 2 or 3 times a day and you should find that after a few weeks of the same routine that the push ups become easyier and you do more . infinityplusone666@yahoo.com

Have you experienced any emotional trauma recently ? If so this weakens spirit and physical strength so that you feel physically unfit and also think " I really don't enjoy this". If you are feeling this way talk to a councellor - it could be depression. Diet is important - Are you taking vitamin supplements ? because if you are they increase mortality and are not actually doing much good because many of the vitamins and minerals inhibit the absorpsion of other ones. Ie vitamin A inhibits vitamin C and vitamin D absorpsion and vice versa. Taking fresh fruit and veg is better as the concentration and mixture of vitamins and minerals allows each to be absorbed equally. Vitamin B is necessary for vitality and is in many seeds nuts grains etc. Taking lots of fruit, veg, grains, seeds and museli with adequate water and fibre is healthy. Also take fish as opposed to red meat because red meat is high in heme iron which in large quantiies increases free radical damage to organs and increases risk of coronary heart attack. Fruit and veg contain non-heme iron so vegetarians who take enough fruit and veg will have enough RBCS. The belief that we need meat for health is incorrect, we do not because fruit and veg contain non-heme iron which is better for us. If you are taking processed foods stop because they are deprived of nutrients and contain too much salt. Meat is a low energy high in fat substance which contains too much protein, and iron and is therefore unhealthy.

it really could be for a wide number of things -- -but it IS probably stemming from your diet - you should definitely review some healthy diet information, not just because you are working out - but definitely because you are not feeling well, and nutrition is the key to good health

personally, it sounds like you may not be getting a good amount of protein. i think this, because i experienced some of the same things that you described, once when i was going on a 'serious' dieting plan! haha, needless to say, i had to step back and re-course my plan of action, with a bit of healthy knowledge on the subject.

the following are some good articles on 1] protein and 2] good nutrition

sleep more
