How come I cant lose weight?!


Question: I have tried to exercise i mean i have 4 large dogs so i kinda get exercise that way, i dont eat really any sweets and i dont cram food down my throat all the time i eat like a normal person but make my meals small. how can i lose my theighs and stomach? or how can i lose 10 lbs in one month? what did you do that was easy ? help please

Well, it's never easy. Simple, yes, easy no. There is no substitute for hard work and discipline, but it doesn't mean slaving away in a gym for hours each day.

The short answer is this:

My client's often come to me because they feel they are doing everything right, but still can't lose any weight. 10lbs in one month is definitely not unreasonable, but it means changing a few things.

First off - Diet

Nobody's diet is perfect, but it doesn't need to be. If you aren't eating 5-6 small meals a day, then that's a good start. Just by redistributing the same amount of calories in my client's meals (without reducing them) I often see phenomenal results.

Second - Exercise

This is essential. You must, must, must, include high intensity exercise in your program to lose weight. Walking the dogs simply won't do it. It doesn't have to be long, but it's got to be intense.

3-4 well designed 20 minute workouts per week can often be enough to loose up to 3-4 lbs in one week (depending on your initial body fat levels).

Your mentality is all wrong. Most of the time, people want to lose weight and it's not all about the physical, it's about the mental as well.

You should not set a certain weight for a certain time. It just makes for more disappointment. What you should do is keep eating healthy, keep exercising, and not worry so much about losing 10 pounds in one month...hey if it takes you 2 months, no big deal! See, when you get frustrated, people give up, and they don't want to lose weight anymore...or they want to but they find it hard. It's all in the mind.

mine might not be all that great because im skinny, try eating small little snacks throughout the day instead of large meals, eat break fast, if u dont, it'll lower ur metabolism

walking is very very good exercise just modify your diet & the weight should fall off.

To loose 10 lbs in a month is not problem at all . Why, you can loose them in just 11 days!
