Which foods do NOT contain high fructose corn syrup?!

Question: I have recently become aware of the link between HFCS and obesity/diabetes. I am trying to eliminate it from my diet, but it seems that it is in everything! It might be easier to compile a list of foods that do not have it.

That is pretty close to the truth. HFCS is cheaper to add to foods in the US than sugar. Even US produced Coke uses HFCS while european or middle eastern versions use sugar. Sometimes cane sometimes beet. But you get the idea. In the US, MOST processed foods that require sweetening (most snack foods and fast foods) have this added. Even McDonalds adds sugar to their buns and fry oils.
There is nothing wrong with sweet foods. But go with honey or natural stevia. Sugar in the Raw is better than bleached, but still, stay as natural as you can. If you are making a list of foods without HFCS b/c it shoots your Glucose up really high making it easier to develop diabetes/obesity then just stick with natural foods. In the words of a famous (and crazy) lady called Susan Powter: "if it doesn't grow that way...DON'T eat it." Sound advice. You ewill avoid processed vegetables that you think are heathy and keep yourself away from HFCS in junk foods. That being said...I love Cheetos.

unprocessed foods.

A lot don't! It depends on the brand. You just have to read the ingredients when you go to the grocery store. For example, a lot of salad dressings have it but Newman's Own doesn't. You will come to know the brands more and more as you read labels and it will get easier to know.

all the ones which dont have any taste either,,,,,,,,

You pretty much have to shop at a natural foods store like Whole Foods Market. I hate the fact that the US government is shoving HFCS and thousands of other crappy corn products down our throats just so they can justify subsidizing the farmers. Corn kills and makes you fat and diabetic, too. It BS. But since when did the Government or the FDA care about our health? It has always been all about the money.

just look at the ingredients on what you buy..simple as that! =)

you would have to go to europe! they do not have high fructose corn syrup ! seriously.. hmmm and we wonder why americans are obese..
