How can I stop my dieting mind set?!


Question: I always think i have to be perfect with dieting for the whole day, and If I mess up I can't continue to diet that whole day .

idk..you have to ask yourself if you need to diet..
I mean if your healthy then just do regular exercises but not dieting..that can really get to you..

I am 5'4 and 107lbs..and I have been that way for like 5 years now..so I know my weight isn't going to change..and I don't exercise or diet...and I don't think I ever will..lol..

just don't look at it as dieting..I mean its important to eat healthy.so just eat healthy food and workout once in a while..take dancing classes..that's alot more fun then worrying about focusing on your diet everyday.

the best diet is the "no-diet" diet. Seriously. Look it up on amazon (I forgot who its but but there's a whole book on it). Basically, your aim is to change your 1 or 2 things about your routine every day. Don't worry so much about what you eat, just keep being healthy, and treat yourself for doing so. There is no harm in it. Just make sure you are on a balanced diet and not some Atkins type thing (high in this and that and low in something else). Just keep everyhting balanced and be positive that at least you have a healthy way of thinking: )

Go to weight watchers, it will teach you how to eat properly with out being chained by those fad diets and you will still lose weight if you follow the technique learned coupled with exercise! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

becareful with the attitude that you posses now it could get you into poor body image and eating disorders!!!!!!!!!!

Start slow, make small changes gradually and soon it will be come a way of life. For example, fiber is crucial to our health and maintaining weight... from this day on, eat a bowl of oatmeal and a banana for breakfast. In a week, makeover your lunch too, and so on and so on. You just need to teach yourself the basics and then making healthy decisions will be second nature! Remember it is important to snack between meals to keep yourself satisfied and prevent from overeating at your next meal. Also, allow yourself one cheat day a week (mine is every Saturday). On this day, you can eat your fave high calorie foods. That way, during the week you can avoid temptation by reminding yourself to wait for cheat day.
