depends how overweight you are if at all. this will be harder if you have less weight to lose. anyways, eat about 1200 calories per day(minimum recommended) and workout for an hour or two
if this does not work you could try fasting but as soon as yo start eating again you will gain the weight right back

go on an all liquid diet..get a juicer and mix together fruits and veggies and drink it lol

well i got two painful ways though relatively efficent and not entirely healthy ways for you to do it. Both are based on the same concept.

Simply stated if you were to not eat or drink anything for 1 day you would lose 3 pounds.

Therefore wait till 24 hrs before and don't eat or drink anything. OR eat/drink a netweight of about 2 pounds per day for 3 days... losing 1 pound a day.

Obiviously you could put some sweats on and find a treadmill (don't forget a hat).

I can't immagine why you are only shooting to lose 3 pound (i know mabey wrestling but otherwise...) and will warn you that it takes alot more effort to keep weight off than to lose it.
