Which is better A Treadmill or Eliptical Trainer? And How long should you stay on!

Question: Thanks..

Answers: Thanks..

Depending what you are trying to achieve but overall, Eliptical trainer does more for the overall workout....

Beginning- 45 minutes a day...at a speed of 3 miles per hour, as time passes and the body gets use to it, move it up to hour a day at a speed of 5 minutes. After about 3 months, you can use it only three days a week but at about 1 hour and half for a speed of 10 miles per hour. As you get use to it, you can mix and set-up a work program that fits your style and what you want to get out of it.

Good luck!!!

I love the elliptical better because it is not harsh on your joints. I Usually do 30-45 minutes 3 times a week on a medium resistance.

IMO, eliptical trainers are better. Normally 15-30 minutes.

either one is great cardo...at least 30 minutes daily at a pace that keeps your heart rate 80% of max....

elliptical 1HR (really 45 min., 15 cool down)

I personally like the eliptical trainer better than the treadmill because it burn more calories in less time for me. Also cause I can't run that long on the treadmill T_T However, I do a mix of cardio for about 50 mins..... ( eliptical, treadmill, crossramp, stair etc )

Treadmills are more fun to work on. I say spend at least half an hour to forty minutes running or walking on them.

AN Eliptical trainer and aboiut an hour
