If I dont have sugar I feel weak and sad??!


Question: I love candy and junk food. No ,im not fat, Im 19 and Im actually really skinny(103) because I work out and I am pettite. I have to have sugar( candy, cereal, cookies) at least 5 times a day because If I dont I feel weak and sad and I have no energy. Is it really bad, could it be diabetes or something??

when my freind first found out she had diabetes
that was one thing that happend to her when she went without sugar. if she didnt have it she would feel nausious. So, possibley
you could.
talk to your doctor.
if it runs in your family you could have an even higher risk.

Do a food journal and see if there are certain foods you are wanting more than others, and if certain foods leave you feeling weaker than others. Could have an underlying condition that causes intermittent hypo and hyperglycemia.

try eating fresh fruit instead of the candy , you may have hyperglycemia

it is because you are not eating properly
when you eat sugary/starchy foods like you say you are
your insulin fluctuates wildly and that causes what you are feeling
try switching over to raw, whole non-sugared non-salted almonds.
they will boost your energy, are high in protein and low in calories.
not diabetes most likely
if you are more than about 5'2"tall and weigh 103, you are borderline anorexic by the way and that would cause the weak sad no energy thing also

Sounds like hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. It is a relative of diabetes. You don't have to be fat to be diabetic. See a doctor, please!
