Feeling of unmotivation?!

Question: A couple weeks ago I was going good with my diet and exercise program and I felt really good. Then finals came I didn't do anything during finals and now I want to get back on eating healthy and exercising but lately I've been feeling unmotivated and just like I didn't really care. I started eating A LOT and I didn't think anything of it. I wanna get back on track but I don't what will make me feel better.

Less flouride and cheese burgers. More self-assessment.

Throw your television off a cliff.

Join a club- You could find a local team sport via FaceBook, your local council, YMCA, intra-murals at your University- any number of places. If you play a social league, you'd be offerred fitness with the benefit of a low-key, FUN, no pressure atmosphere.

I think it's expected to be "over it" after completing finals. They can really zap you're energy. Enjoy!

There are many support groups that can help. Open your eyes. Look around your neighborhood. Personally, I think big gyms make people intimidated and they end up wasting their money. Find a smaller gym that possibly has a fitness trainer on site. Start small. One time a week working out. Eating less portions. Increase it to two times a week and so on until you have a healthy balance.

Hi,

I think that you shouldn't stop building your muscles ! Do you know that it takes a lot of energy for your body to maintain those muscles and this energy that your body uses will increase your metabolism rate. A high metabolism rate means that your body burns fat faster then normal ! So if you stop building your muscles and maintaining your current ones, your metabolism rate drops !

Since you said you have laid off your exercise routines for quite a while, why not try to pick it up slowly again. Give yourself a goal to aim for .. for example, I want to workout my arms today .. or I want to do 20 sit ups today and plan it on your calendar ... give yourself mini goals to do everyday and at the end of the week, you would have accomplished a lot and that will surely make you feel better !

You can also introduce an aerobics routine into your exercise. Walking and jogging will increase your metabolism rate further causing you to burn fat and get back on track. They are simple to do and don't take much time !

Don't get depressed ! Choose healthier food when you are eating .. like leaner cuts of meat and healthier preparation like grilling and boiling instead of deep frying. Eating food high in fibre like fruits and vegetables will also make you feel full faster so in result, you burn more then you eat .. which causes you to lose weight !

I was quite depressed with my weight loss plans about a year ago until I worked with my weight loss hypnosis therapist. The weight loss hypnosis therapist guided me through hypnosis sessions where she repeated suggestions to help me lose weight .. choose healthier food and motivational phases to motivate me to go exercise (I was pretty lazy previously) ..

Now, 6 months into the program, I feel healthier because I find that after the program, I feel full even when I don't eat so much and I'm still full of energy. I also go to the gym because I get very motivated and excited in working out and seeing how toned I have become and how much weight I have lost.. (I used to not look forward to going)

So perhaps you should look into your diet and exercise goals to help you lose the fats and stick to the program.. because determination and time is what it takes to lose weight ... of course you can also invest in a weight loss hypnosis programs to help motivate you .. and I find it very valuable in helping me reach my weight loss goals ...

Also, by giving yourself a plan on what to work out .. you can measure the progress that you have and how much progress you have made through the weeks/ months ... That will create a positive loop which will motivate you further !
