I need help really fast......please help??!


Question: I have been over weight for like two years now but dont know any good diets... my mom told me that diets dont work but I'm going on vacation in a few months and want to look good in a bakini and not be embaressed to show my stomache... I want to be proud of who I am... I weigh around 130-135 and I'm only 12 but I'm one one the tallest girls in my grade.... any ideas???need help!!

First, start with an accessible goal. When you accomplish that, you will feel wonderful about yourself and can then set the goal a little higher. If you start with a goal that is too high, and you do not reach it by your designated date, then you could risk feeling depressed and unaccomplished. Next, eat healthy foods, and a variety of them to boot. Stay away from foods high in saturated fats.

Exercise, but don't overdo it! Make sure to eat plenty of protein, because your body will use that as energy before it uses the fat. It gets the protein from your muscles, so in order to replace what is used then make sure to eat an adequate amount, be it from meat or vegetable proteins.

Calculate your BMI (this will tell you your weight to height ratio and answer your "am I really fat" question) and make sure you don't lose too much weight in order to "look pretty." Being overly skinny isn't any more attractive than being slightly overweight.

you might weigh that because you are tall i am like so fat and i weigh 115lbs. at 12 and my friend is tall and skinny and weighs the same and he has no muscle dont worry about it 135lbs. and very tall isnt fat =) IF YOU CAN ADD HOW TALL YOU ARE I CAN CALCULATE YOUR BMI

130 - 135 lbs is not fat depending on your height. do sets of crunches and situps every morning and night before school and before bed, as far as the stomach workout goes. for legs, lay on your back and raise both legs approximately 6 in. off the ground for 10 sets of holding them up for 10 seconds. this will work the fat off of your thighs. hope this helps your problem, and remember, dont let the media bring you down!

just try to eat a little bit more healthy and read the lables on EVERYTHING and if they have TONS of calories dont eat it.

So you have a few months to prepare! The best, and healthiest diet would be to increase your exercise and to eat well! Try a combination of aerobic exercises, like swimming, jogging, biking, or fast walking.. as well as some weight-training exercises (muscle metabolizes sugar rapidly and will help you lose fat!) Eat healthy, load up on fruits and vegetables, fish and whole grain products..and avoid simple sugars (candies, chocolates..) and fried foods.. Eat lots of fiber too. Get a good amount of sleep every night. Not only will you lose weight, but you'll also feel GREAT about yourself. So in the end, it might not matter how thin you look ;)
