eat smaller meals, more of them

Slow down. When you feel like eating something but you really shouldn't, just stop and think. Decide how hungry you are on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being stuffed, and 10 being very hungy. if its between 1 and 4, just wait for your next meal. if its 5, get a glass of water, it really does fill you up and can keep you going for about 30mins before you have a meal. Best thing about water, you dont have to stick to just one glass, have as much as you want. If your'e feeling a 6, piece of fruit, 7 or 8, go for a nice snack, crisps if you do enough exercise to burn it off, chocolate bar, bread n butter, just something you actually like, if you eat something you dont like, you'll just want more. If its a 9 or 10, eat that next meal early. If you can of course. Its not always possible when you're not the one cooking, but if you can have a meal a little earlier, its better than snacking.
