Ministry of sounds 'pump it up' workouts are very good, the music is great for working out to and it really does work!

Too easy really, ministry of sound pump it up. Theres 5 of them, get them off amazon. They may not be the hardest dvds out there but they really are so much fun that you look forward to it. The music is great! (if you like clubby stuff) and the toning sections help a lot. I like the hi energy one, and the original is great too. BTW I used to do Jane Fonda too, oh dear....

upbeat music

Haha i still have my Jane Fonda video too
i plan to get a new one when i go to uni next year
I think those dance ones look good, like Ministry of sound, or FHM girls!
Have a look in HMV theres loads of choice :)

For DVDs I like Leslie Sansone, those walking DVDs. For music, I need something with a good beat. Try these:
- Anything by Pussycat Dolls
- "Millennium", Backstreet Boys album (sounds crazy but I swear it works!)
- "The Logical Song", Scooter
- Anything by Bon Jovi (try "It's My Life")
- The "Hairspray" soundtrack (makes me want to get up and dance!)

Aloha from Down Unda!
The best workout has NOTHINGto do with a DVD!
Enjoy the beauty of nature in yer neighborhood!
Extend yer boundries to about 5 miles from yer home!
A 10 mile hike, 3 days a week, is better than any DVD ever released!
Rain, sleek, cold or heat, snow or shine, jes 'do it'!
Best wishes~

I havent worked out to a DVD/Cd for years. I still work out in the gym though. Basically you're going to use whatever Music you like listening to. Doesnt matter what other people suggest.
Whatever it's going to be though, try to use music/beats/noise to around 136-144 bpm in your workout or 'burn' section of your workout. The 'warm up' should be around 118-126, same with the cool down and stretching should be chillout sounds.
The Hi-energy of bpm (beats per minute) will give you that extra 'oompff' factor in enabling you to achieve that goal.

(Btw, to work out the music bpm isn't rocket science.Good luck)

dvds hmm music better then dvds and I could not name just one cd.

Drum and bass, you know the music they play in night clubs that gets ya moving... Acid jazz, liquid funk, trance its all good.

Heaven Shall Burn, arch enemy... heck I could keep on going but I think you get the idea.

Just listen to up beat music that you like with volume up loud.

Turbo Jam. Most of it is really intense and upbeat. It will give you a really intense workout for beginners. And it will keep you fit if you already are working out.
