Is there a limit to weight lifting?!
Question: a woman i know likes to use this example in class saying "waht if i tried to lift 100 pounds over my head?" she then makes reference to her very slight physique ( shes like 5'3 , 105 pounds). i mean shes very very thin, small, puny woman. she then says "well probably i coudlnt ever get my muslces to lift that much and theres no point in trying". is there a limit to what peopel can lift? coudl she ever get t othe point where she could lift that much over her head? could i? ( i who am 5'5 and a quite a bit heavier. just started working out like a month ago .

She could do it. No problem. A little working out, and anyone could.
100 pounds? no problem whatsoever for most physicaly fit men. (woman could also do this with some training)
I used to work out fanatically...if I over did it, I'd get sick...very run down and flu symptoms....I lifted every day with a different muscle group and ran for at least an hour...once a week I would beat the crap out of a different muscle group....I played the edge and sometimes i got burned...I was in great shape, but there was a limit....I don't think you can overcome a certain individual barrier without drugs...i went from 220 lbs and 30% fat to 205 and 10% fat...but any more than that would have been self abuse
