Define work. It plays havok with your arteries from lack of carbohydrate, leads to muscle wastage and heart weakness due to not enough protein and causes many nutrient defficiencies (including osteoporosis) from not enough food variety. But yes, you probably would lose weight this way. Whether also losing hair, muscle, energy, bone mass, eyesight, and heart tissue is worth it is up to you. x

i have friends who have tried it. They said all they did was sat on the toilet constantly cuz it ran right through them. I dont think its a good idea personally.

You'll get sick eventually because your body won't get enough nutrients, protein, and other things that keep you healthy. And, like the woman above said, you'll spend all your time in the bathroom.

Yes, it certainly does work if you can stand the boredom of soup for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but basically it works because all you are taking in is water and a few veg so your calorie intake is very low. You would be much better off eating three small meals a day to lose weight.
