It gets you in better shape so as you run more you're body will be able to go longer and it will get easier. It can tone and increase muscle strength without making you look like a body builder. Running also burns lots of calories, so even if weight is not an issue, it will burn calories in the process. It's good for the lungs, espically if the air is relativly clean. Some studies show that it can help relieve stress, which could help appearance by releasing endorphins from the brain to give you a better attitude, thus having more self-confidence in appearance...basically, the benifits are all there, its a good thing to do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Just make sure you stay plenty hydrated.
It will make you skin nice if you drink lots of water while doing it Also firms you up.
