Can I still grow taller at 22 years old? (male)?!

Question: I ate horribly all throughout my teenage years (a diet of hot pockets and pizza) and, I think due to that, I'm 5'8, My dad is 6'2.

I've just started eating really healthy foods (primarily veggies and fruits plus protein rich foods as I'm trying to get in shape. Getting taller is not my main goal but I've heard that growth plates don't totally close off till near 25. Can I still grow taller?

Yes, you can grow taller, I actually grew about 1 or 1 1/2 inches between the age of 20-25. So, you can definitely grow more, but not very much.

You are exactly right about growth plates not closing off until about 25 years of age. Eating good food is great, and make sure you include lots of stretching exercises like Lat Pull Downs if you really want to try to gain another inch or so.

possiblity u can grow it grows little by little look at nba players some are gettin taller

I dont exactly eat healthy and i am 6'0 at the age of 15. I am a very active guy though. I've heard of guys growing at the age of 19 or so but not at 22. But its possible I guess. Good luck and besides..5'8 isnt bad.

you could always drink more milk, don't drink coffee, and get good sleep. The rest of it is genetics.

No. The human body is expected to reach its full growth by 17-18 years of age.

You will have to see, but you probably are as tall as you will be. You should go and see your doctor about it. But, hey to me you are tall enough!

At 22 you can grown taller but not that much. I think you could grow taller by 0.5-1cm that's only by eating good foods and exercise. But on the other hand, if your mom is not that tall for example 5'4 below then i guess that doesn't help even your dad is 6'2 tall.
